Happy May, everybody!  Today marks the beginning of Lyme Disease Awareness Month.  As a fighter of this disease, year round I hope to increase people’s knowledge about the sad, yet very true realities of what it’s like to live with Lyme; however, over the course of this special month, I will be posting as many healthy recipes as possible with a green color scheme (to represent Lyme) as well as some insight into my life as a Lyme warrior.  I’m currently dealing with a migraine so I’ll  keep this post short and sweet, but check back for more updates soon!

Did you know?

According to LymeDiseaseChallenge.org

“Studies show that standard laboratory tests recommended by the CDC to diagnose Lyme Disease miss approximately half of actual cases, leading to misdiagnosis and an infection that is more difficult to treat.”
